Jesse Eugene Townsend, 96, of Stuttgart passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at Crestpark. Mr. Townsend was born Jan. 30, 1922, in Wabbaseka to Jesse Eugene Townsend Sr. and Helen Edith Ballard Townsend. Following high school graduation, he entered the Air Force and was a World War II fighter pilot serving overseas in Burma.
