Irene Marek Elam, 88, of Stuttgart, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019, peacefully in her home.Irene was born on March 1, 1930, in Slovak to Paul and Vlasta Marek. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Stuttgart. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Vlasta Marek; her husband, William C. Elam; and her sister, Evelyn Chlapecka.
